Chillies Addis — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

I visited chillies Addis restaurant today, and it’s not my first time here. Every time I come to Addis, it’s a must-visit spot for me. The food is absolutely delicious, rich with authentic Indian spices, and the service is outstanding.

The atmosphere is enhanced by lovely Indian music that creates a vibrant and enjoyable vibe. The restaurant manager is incredibly professional, patient, and sociable, which adds to the warm and welcoming environment.

What made this visit even more special was their thoughtful gesture—they brought an air balloon for my little child, who absolutely loved it!

I’m extremely disappointed and feel outright cheated. The way the Chillies representative handled my grievance was not only unprofessional but showed a complete lack of understanding of basic customer service. Shame on you. I will never order from Chillies again — and certainly not through Deliver Addis.

You should have clearly stated that it’s only the sauce and that nothing else comes with it. It’s standard and reasonable to expect rice or pita on the side with a dish like this, and the fact that this wasn’t communicated upfront is misleading at best.

Just went there because of some reviews and my appetite for India cuisine. By walking the greeting a potential paying customer failed completely. Not the best start. Atmosphere is probably as good as on a gas station. Not really great vibes. Maybe because it was empty kind of. Service showed to a nicer room. Wasn’t really. Menu quiet substantial. Food came in a good timely manner. Wasn’t bad but not really great either. Chicken tikka masala was the best. Toilet could have get cleaned better.
