Extremely disturbing and unpleasant experience. I visited Hesburger Ruoholahti Metrotori (Itämerenkatu 14, Helsinki) and placed an order. While sitting at the table with my food, I noticed several insects that looked like bed bugs - one was on my clothing, another on the table, and a third I managed to photograph. When I crushed one, it released a strong smell similar to ethanol, and there was blood inside, which is very concerning. I moved to another table, but they were there too. But I was disappointed in the self-checkout machines, since they were only in Finnish (or at least I didn't see an obvious way to change language). And it didn't seem that you could use a giftcard at the machine, which would be solved if you can choose to pay at the counter, but you couldn't do that either...
Edit: The self-checkout machines are still only in Finnish... But the food is good and service fast!

Read more22nd of May 2025 - 17:55 The worst food menu presentation I’ve ever seen. Smashed burgers with the toppings thrown on the side. Clearly, assembling a proper burger is too much to ask for them. There were only two orders before mine, and four people working in the kitchen. Yet they still managed to serve something awful.
I went to complain, and the manager laughed in my face.
The place was filthy — flies everywhere, tables and floors a complete mess.
People, don’t waste your time. Go across the street to Burger King — it’s way better...
