Angry and BE AWARE! English menu error, my pregnant wife and I queued for 3 hours but got wrong product
1 hour in cold wind in the open air+1.5 hour in the building+0.5 hour in the shop for picking up the food, but an error in the machine messes up all.
At first we chose English, and saw €13 "Hot wings", but we wanted spicy wings and not sure if "hot" wings are spicy. Then we saw "Hot and Spicy Wing" at the price of €18 or so. We just doubted a little bit why the price varied 5 euros as they only differ in the flavour, but the machine started to warn us that it will cancel the order if we don't act quickly, so we picked Hot and Spicy Wings. We were very very sure we saw the word "Wings" on the screen of summary of order too, as that's the reason we went there, we doubled checked. Then the machine printed the ticket, we picked up the bag and went home.
Only when at home we realized that we were given "Crispy Strips" which are not wings, and the ticket showed the wrong item too. You may say why we didn't check the ticket and the bag content, but after 3 hours' waiting, who would be in the mood of staying there for any longer? (BTW we think the rush of newly opening are not handled well in this shop, I saw more staff than McDonald's are working, at a peaceful pace, not fast enough to handle the load of customer we saw, in comparison with McDonald's or Burger King)
We checked online menu, but there are no "Hot and Spicy Wings", only "Hot and Spicy Strips". So I don't know why the strips are showed as wings in the machine, but were passes to the system as strips. Maybe the English menu is not used so much as Finnish one so no one noticed that.
We were frustrated and disappointed. We will not go back to there before the rush went off. We knew that newly opening of a restaurant is a mess, but didn't expect so long waiting and such an error in the most important interface(the vending machine) of an international fast food chain. KFC should have experience with this opening rush. But I think at least here, the staff and the management is not...
Read moreExtremely dishonest staff. Has happened to me a few times in the past as well that when I takeaway something. It appears to be either a wrong item or all together or made with incorrect ingredients but have never complained as I didnt want to go all the way back from home to file a complaint.
This time however I reminded myself of checking the order after they have delivered and yes, they made the grand texas burger (hot&spicy) with the chicken strips instead of the full zinger piece without consent. Upon asking they didnt even bother checking it from the box as they knew what they did. I was told they did it because for zinger to come out of the frier it would take another 6 minutes. This is highly unprofessional attitude.
Looking at the burger bun and the inside it, doesnt look the same and appealing as it used to be atleast (eating it after a month). Smaller in size. Haven't had a chance to eat it as I am posting a review right after but I am pretty sure its not gonna taste as good as it should have. Zinger in it is pretty small and I also have a doubt if they added the correct zinger...
Read moreWe went there nearly a month after the grand opening and yet there were too many people waiting at the place. It took us 2 hours to receive our takeaway orders. The staff should have been better trained and prepared for situations of overflooding diners. As in our case, they decided to lure everyone inside and close the gate, despite covid-19 is still tensed these days. They also seemed rather annoyed and tired. There were no seats, so we had to stand throughout those 2 hours. Requesting a takeaway order was fast, but waiting to receive one takes ages. The progress screen and perhaps the ordering system also had problems because some order numbers were still shown although they were taken already. That should be taken into notice and needs improving. On the bright side, the food was quite good. They don’t offer complimentary ketchup or any dippings here, so we used our own. I’d recommend that you wait a few more months to try out the food, because honestly I don’t think spending hours waiting isn’t worth it...
