Quantity to price isn't worth it overall but the sichuan use in the mala soup is such great feeling if you like spicy food.
In general you can make this repeatable experience if you do a couple of things. Only take meat and some exotic mushrooms(make sure to shake them well due to get rid of as much water as you pay by weight and they aren’t clear if they retract the weight of the bowl from your total weight) then take picture so you make sure you get everything you choose as I was missing some pieces of duck I think but I can't confirm. Then add your own udon noodles as those are 3 euros extra for a pack when you can get them for 1 euro in the Thai supermarket downstairs in the mall. Yeah you probably are a cheapskate if you do so but paying 20+ plus euros for a bowl of noodles is a bit of stretch. Overall you get enough soup to share with company so getting 2 seperate ones would be a...
Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, I have to say that my experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the vegetables used in the dish were clearly soaked in too much water and lacked the crispness and flavor that one would expect. In addition, the food select area contained an excessive amount of frozen food, which left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. The "mildly spicy" hot& sour soup base was far too spicy and resulted in a burning sensation in my stomach that lasted long after the meal had finished. This made it very difficult to enjoy the meal and was quite uncomfortable. Moreover, the staff who took our order were unhelpful and displayed a very poor attitude. They were not accommodating and made us feel unwelcome in the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant and will seek out other,...
Read moreCome here if you're looking for a truly authentic Szechuan taste and you won't be disappointed. I ordered their original spicy mala sauce and the spiciness, aroma and flavor was just like back in China. You pick your ingredients from the fridge, select a sauce/soup base and they weigh it and charge you a price based on the weight. A good tip is to pick 1 meat, 2 veg and 1 processed ingredient such as the cheese tofu, fish all, etc... Then select a noodle to go with it. I love the transparent potato noodles for this type of spicy dishes. For the dipping sauces, I love garlic with black vinegar or sesame sauce with some green onions, and chilli paste. Staff are very friendly and helpful too so feel free to chat with them or ask them for help or advice on...
