Pizzeria Don Angelo — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

An Italian restaurant that serves mostly pizza and pasta right across Kisahalli. I went with my three friends Friday afternoon for a quick late lunch. We were the first customers there. Staff wasn’t super welcoming but neither rude. I ordered risotto that was 17,50€ and the rest of the party pizza and pasta. Food was okay but not outstanding. At the end of the meal, I ordered a single espresso that turned out to be 5,50€ which is probably the most expensive espresso of my life but I didn’t check the drink menu in advance so that’s on me. In general, I would say that it is a place worth trying but don’t expect anything...

The food tastes normal-good, quite good compare with the Finnish standards. It is a small cozy place, the owner is nice and the food is handmade. I recommend it much more...

Paikkana Don Angelo oli mukavan pieni ja tunnelmallinen mutta ainakin ensimmäisen käynnin perusteella jätti omalle kohdalle toivomisen varaa. Alkupalana ollut lumache oli mielestäni todella hyvä ja odotin pääruoalta alkupalojen perusteella paljon. Valitettavasti pääruoka ei sitten kolahtanut ihan odotetulla tavalla. Pasta-annos missä oli katkarapuja, tonnikalaa, valkosipulia sekä yrttejä jäi omasta mielestä valjun makuiseksi. Tietynlainen makujen harmonia ja syvyys puuttui annoksesta. Pitää tulla joskus uudestana kokeilemaan jotakin...
