Restaurant Messenius — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We came here twice. First time it was a good experience, the meat with potatoes dish for lunch was good, so we came back again for lunch. However, when I almost finished my dish I found a long hair under my potatoes in my plate😢 We told the waiter, she just said sorry and it looked like it was no big deal. She offered us dessert, I said no- why would I eat more in a place when I found hair in my food?! In the end she came back with our bill and took 20% discount from my dish only. Which was quite an unfair service for such a food disaster situation. The waiter however just said: I feel sorry for this- it’s also for me I don’t like it when that happens in my plate. 🫢 Anyhow, last time in this restaurant. Also, this time we noticed how loud it was in there, the people talking really echoes badly - they need some acoustic boards or something.

Vanhan ystävän tapaaminen lounaalla ja salissa oli mukava puheensorina taustalla ruokaillessamme. Tarjoilija vielä vinkkasi meille että tilatkaa nopeasti ennenkuin suuri seurue hetkellisesti ruuhkauttaa keittiön. Aivan uskomattoman lihaisa borssi reilulla smetana klikillä alkuun ja Rydbergi "Herrasväen pyttipannu" päänä, jossa isoja mediumiksi paistettuja erittäin mureita että maukkaita naudun sisäfilepaloja.
