Sweet Italy Waffle — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We stopped by Sweet Italy Waffle in Iso Omena and were pleasantly surprised! The presentation was beautiful, and everything we tried was rich in flavor and well-balanced in sweetness. • Affogato Tiramisu: A creative twist on the classic affogato! The espresso was bold and aromatic, poured over creamy tiramisu-flavored gelato – pure indulgence in every spoonful. • Tiramisu Cake: Soft, moist, and just the right amount of coffee and cocoa flavor. Not too heavy, and the mascarpone layer was light and silky.

Sweet Italy really captures the cozy, dessert café vibe with an Italian touch. Friendly staff, quick service, and great for a sweet treat after shopping.

Highly recommend if you’re in Iso Omena and craving...

The lady at the store really needs to learn how to talk to customers, and not to yell at them. This is definitely the last time we will be even going to this stupid place, just because of the lady. We paid with edenred here and the lady was furious for doing that, even though this restaurant is officially a part of Eden red app. The lady was yelling at the top of her voice infront of everyone and was really very rude. As a proof I have attached a picture of my edenred app showing that the restaurant is officially supported in Edenred. The food itself is pathetic.

I would be complaining to edenred about this will definitely never ever...

The desserts are excellent. The tiramisu is one of the best in the Helsinki Area. Good gelato and other tasty treats.

The only problem is the milieu. Not only is the cafe in a shopping center, it also shares space with a kebab shop. Nothing wrong with good kebab, but it does spoil the atmosphere a bit with the music blaring and the aromas of kebab infiltrating your tiramisu.

This cafe needs its own space, either in Iso Omena or somewhere else....
