Container Restaurant Morton Joensuu — Restaurant in Joensuu sub-region

A cosy looking shipping container burger restaurant (found in other cities as well). The location is nice, in a park by the river, although noisy if a ship is passing through the bridge. The restaurant is partially on a terrace, with trendy seats over a grass area. It's not in business in winter. The place is decorated with good taste, adding lots of plants. +They have a restroom.

-It's quite busy at times. We had a waiting time of 30 minutes. -The chairs aren't sturdy, but luckily didn't break. -Some wasps were very interested in the food and wouldn't leave us bee 🐝

The menu is small. Possibly the same as last year. The fries were entirely covered in basil or such which we didn't enjoy. The burgers were nice, however the prices are generally high. During lunch time it's a bit more affordable with varying burger of the day.

Children can get coloring pictures there. The staff is very friendly towards kids.

One of the few desserts available is blueberry rye pie, which is a traditional Finnish treat. I believe they do have some special drinks...

Restaurant atmosphere 4/5, Food 3/5, Service 4/5, Bang for the buck 2/5. Restaurant has a nice location, but burger prices are bit too high. Burger itself was pretty basic, but fries were nice and crispy. Biggest problem was the long queue. We had to wait our burgers 40min. There wasn't too many customers when we arrived, but they had a lot of Wolt/Foodora orders in the making. It would be cool if Morton would prioritize...

Ravintola on kesäisin toimiva konttiravintoöa Joensuun ydinkeskustassa kanavan tuntumassa. Paikkoja löytyy enimmäkseen ulkopuolelta ja hyvänä päivänä täällä onkin miljöön ja tunnelman puolesta miellyttävä ruokailla. Kuitenkin itse ruoka jäi hieman mietityttämään. Hampurilaisaterian burgeri oli kohtuullisen maukas, mutta hieman pieni tähän hintaluokkaan. Suurin puute kuitenkin oli yllättäin ranskalaisten armoton vähyys (tai sitten olisi voinut olla suolakurkku kaverina) ja dippivaihtoehtoja ateriaan ei saanut vaan kylkeen tuli pieni annos talon valintaa. Tuli sellainen olo, että jäi nälkä. Koska ravintolaa pyöritetään vähäisellä henkilökunnalla, asiakkaan tehtäväksi jäi sekä jonotus tiskille tilaamaan että astioiden palautus. Tämä ikävästi vaikutti ruokailukokemukseen, varsinkin kun tiskille oli koko ajan jonoa. Pienillä parannuksilla tästä saisi oikein mainion...
