Ravintola Marani Joensuu — Restaurant in Joensuu sub-region

We went there as a group of four. We had a reservation beforehand, and once there, we were neglected for some time, even though the restaurant didn’t seem busy. A waitress came and asked us something in Finnish, so we told her we had a reservation. She kept mumbling something completely unintelligible and immediately left when we were about to answer, only to return and yell, “Do you have a reservation, yes or no?” I got mad and told her we had already told her five times that we did. She just pointed at a table and said, “Sit there.” Thankfully, another waiter came in, gave us a proper spot, and did a great job.

For the price, I would at least expect good service, but this just felt like it had a hint of racism, which is disappointing. I did talk with my coworkers about this experience, and apparently, they also had an unpleasant interaction with a waitress, though I cannot confirm if it was the same person.

We were so excited about the opening of a Georgian restaurant! The atmosphere was filled with warmth and hospitality, along with beautiful interiors and music that truly set the mood. The food was even better than we expected—everything was so delicious that we completely forgot to take photos!

The Georgian cuisine exceeded all our expectations: Adjarian khachapuri, eggplant rolls, khinkali, lobio, and various kinds of meat. Every dish was amazing.

Pidin tästä paikasta aivan valtavasti! Tuntui siltä kuin olisin hetkeksi joutunut Tbilisiin – herkullisten tuoksujen, hymyjen ja lämmön keskelle. Tunnelma oli todella viihtyisä: sisustus, tuoksut ja koko ilmapiiri loivat kodikkaan olon. Ruoka oli uskomattoman hyvää! Jokainen annos oli valmistettu sydämellä ja rakkaudella. Hinkalit olivat todella maukkaita ja mausteet täydellisesti tasapainossa. Munakoisorullat olivat aivan erinomaisia, ja adžarialainen hatsapuri jäi mieleen pitkäksi aikaa. On melkein mahdotonta valita suosikkia, koska kaikki oli niin hyvää. Annokset olivat isoja – melkein mahdotonta olla syömättä liikaa, koska ruoka oli niin herkullista. Haluan erikseen mainita henkilökunnan: he olivat poikkeuksellisen ystävällisiä, huomaavaisia ja sydämellisiä! Kaikki sujui nopeasti, siististi ja rennosti – kuin olisi ollut jonkun kotona. Todella huomasi, että heille on tärkeää, että asiakas lähtee tyytyväisenä. Tunsin oloni tervetulleeksi ja arvostetuksi vieraaksi. Tämä on ehdottomasti paikka, johon haluaa palata. Ruoka on unohtumatonta, tunnelma lämmin ja elävä, ja lähdin sieltä todella hyvällä tuulella ja ihanin mielin. Ehkä pöytä kannattaa varata etukäteen, sillä väkeä oli paljon (mutta se ei vaikuttanut palveluun). Suosittelen tätä paikkaa sataprosenttisesti – tulette varmasti syömään herkullisesti ja viihtymään...
