Loved it. As a vegan, options aren't always that great and this is perhaps that one issue where Naughty could still improve. They offer Beyond meat option for every burger, but only their Beyond Vegan is actually vegan as it is (Aug 2019). I enjoyed their fries, which are perfectly shaped for dipping. Taking way too much of delicious chipotle-cilantro dip is finally made easy Thanks to the V-cut!
But you are reading this because of the burgers, so let's get into it.
There is a variety of good options to choose from for an omnivore, with a couple of varieties of the standard bacon and beef option. The burgers seem to include that one extra ingredient which makes them stand from the crowd - bacon jam comes to kind, but I saw some Japanese influenced flavours there as well. I had none of those, but they seem to please my friends well and good.
There is a vegetarian option with Portobello and tapenade, so the umami factor is covered.
Just have the Beyond Vegan though. I have had it elsewhere too, but Naughty's is the one I crave for. If you haven't tried a meatless burger before, or you have and was disappointed with a mushy concoction of carrots and beans, this is the one you should have to see how a meatless option is done right. It is what they do to the burger, and whatever it is it works. I am unsure if the fried onions are the way to go when making the burger, my opinion seems to switch from excellent to neutral every now and then - might be a personal preference or perhaps they are tricky to get exactly right. Nevertheless, it is so good.
Friendliest staff in town in my experience.
If you love spicy, have your burger at the table. They offer a large variety of hot sauces from mild to painful, with fruitier sauces to the ones you have to make you a supertaster.
I wouldn't eat outside during the summer, the birds can be a problem. It is a shame, as the place would be perfect for a burger and a beer...
Read moreExcellent food and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It's quite an expensive place if you're planning to eat a full meal with a beer on the side. A bit too expensive for my own liking and especially my "student budget". Music ranged from modern autotune rap to 80s disco hits, the latter of which fit the atmosphere really well at least for our group. The regular aioli dip was quite bland and didn't really taste like garlic, or anything else either. Then again, the chili dip was so hot I got the hiccups just from tasting it a bit. The chipotle-cilantro aioli dip was excellent, though, especially with sweet potato fries. If you don't mind spending 25-30€ on a fancy burger meal (including a beer), then I'd highly recommend this establishment. If you're a bit more cost conscious, I think you can get a bit better deal from somewhere else. Although the food IS...
Read moreBurger was fantastic, only the burger patty was slightly lacking in taste. Also the bun was somewhat fragile. Regular and sweet potato fries where a bit soggy. Also I'd t recommend going with pimped regular potato fries not the sweet potato once. Food was delivered relatively quickly and with the right amount of hunger for a second it felt like I ascended to heaven.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a that has something else between other than regular plain ol' cheddar...
