Ravintola Sakuragawa — Restaurant in Jyväskylä sub-region

I had read the review before going here but I would have to admit that the restaurant didnt go up to my expectation. I didnt taste the sushi because I myself am a sushi chef and from the looking, I could say that those sushi are not as good as the ones I have eaten. The rice is too thick and the fish doesn't look nice and fresh. For the Chinese food, I would say that the quality is okei, but I would not return since it gave me no impression. The taste of the food is okei, I liked the fried pork and the tofu dish, they cooked them well. However, the beef was weird and seemed like it was not fresh. Hands down, the best Asian-Chinese buffet in Jyväskylä. One of our favorite places to order online as well. Try the hot Sichuan chicken! Or anything, really. All have been good so far.

Later we've ordered a couple more times, still excellent!

(Disclaimer: haven't tasted any of their sushi yet. I don't think their buffet even needs the sushi...)

P.S. I would also recommend ALL IN! Jyväskylä, in addition to Sakuragawa. And vice versa.

The food was extremely underwhelming. Fish was not fresh and had a repulsive aftertaste. Moreover, individual pieces were constantly being moved from one plate to another. The sushi section was not enjoyable. Stir-fries lacked a distinct taste, with all sauces predominantly being sugary-sweet. The serving temperatures were not controlled by any means, even ice cream was swimming in its own molten residue. There was 10% discount for students though which was nice.
