Konnichiwa — Restaurant in Lahti sub-region

The restaurant is good overall and the food is good, but the biggest problem i have with this place is that they start closing up very early. The restaurant closes at 9pm, but at 7:30pm they already started cleaning everything up, even taking all the soy sauce from the tables. It felt like they were just waiting for me to leave so they can finish cleaning up, which is weird as they were supposed to be open for another 1,5h. I would have wanted to get more food and dessert as well, but did not feel welcome to stay any longer. If you go earlier in the day, it's different, of course. But I don't think it's unreasonable to go to a restaurant multiple hours before...

This place is one of the first buffet restaurant that I have loved in Lahti, Finland. They actually raised their prices, which is because of the inflation in commodities in Europe. They serve almost the same dish everyday. but they add something more during the evening, because it's more expensive if you go after 16:00. What I love the most about this place, is that.. it's spacious, especially when you go inside with your baby cart. The staff may not be that much of the accommodating type or vibe.. but atleast the food is...

Their salad and sushi island are good. The warm food however are extra salty for me and their new tepanyaki island is not a tepanyaki at all, terrible choices of old meats and seafoods are swimming in slimy water. The cleanliness of the place, tables, children chains have gone from 5/5 4 yrs ago to 2/5 at present. Worst price, i would say for 3 yrs old 8€... while it's free on the other tepanyaki & sushi buffet restaurant.
