Ravintola sijaitsee erittäin kätevästi, ja tunnelma on kodikas ja viihtyisä. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja palvelu oli nopeaa. Otimme grilliruokia - shawarmaa ja kanavarpaita. Pääruoan kanssa sai nauttia myös rajattomasti teetä, kahvia ja salaattia. Valitettavasti itse ruoan maku ei jäänyt mieleen mitenkään erityisenä. Marinadi oli lähes huomaamaton, eikä grillauksen savuinen maku ollut lainkaan tunnistettavissa, vaikka annosten kerrottiin olevan grillattuja. Maistoin lähinnä kanan maun, mutta ei mitään muuta. Kanavarpaitan kanssa tullut curry-kastike ei ollut mieleeni. Ravintolalla on kuitenkin erittäin hyvä arvio kartalla, joten ehkä meillä oli vain hieman erilainen käsitys levantilaisesta keittiöstä, mikä selittää sen, miksi emme olleet erityisen vaikuttuneita.

Amazingly authentic middle-eastern food, so happy to have found this gem in Lappeenranta where good ethnic food is not too easy to come by. Accomodating, friendly service and big plates full of fresh and yummy food. Strong recommendation by mother and son ❤️

With all my respect to all people who found this food as a journey to middle east, am middle eastern and spices were so extra & meat was so chewy to be eaten . Grilled chicken took a black layer as they use same grill for all with a lot of oil on it . it was overpriced for such quality and quantity. Only good part was Fatouch . This is easily THE BEST Middle Eastern restaurant in Lappeenranta, food quality is Superb 👌🏻. And the food tastes very close to the Middle East. Presentation of food is pleasant unlike the terrible scene of restaurants in Finland because Finns generally have no understanding of what delicious food is. The service is excellent. It was the best restaurant in my mind in Lappeenranta since I had been here for several times. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, also friendly staff. But this time, the grill is so dry and chewy. Hummus is not fresh any more. Chicken shawarma I mean kinda street food level not really worth for almost 20 euro. I got really upset… Hope to get it better...
