Kvarter5 — Restaurant in Mariehamn sub-region

This is a must place to dine in and enjoy the food preparation and decoration view from your seat on top of tasty combination of food, BUT it can turn out as a bit bitter sweet experience. I have two different experiences in Kvarter5 within 24hr: The first experience was great, it was a holiday, busy and after 9pm and we were welcomed nicely and we had an amazing chicken bowl with a seleced rosé wine. The food was brilliant apart from the service and we decided to come back for trying the petite tender steak. They open at 5pm and once we got there, we were told that it's fully booked and they could not offer a table, then after a few sec, they offered a table for 2.5hr. There was no pushing request from us. The steak was ok and we were not happy with the service at all and we were treated like we had to rush or leave (even after 1hr) or order more (we had our wine and were drinking slowly) apart from very rude behaviours (from taking the napkins out and appologies for not having it..then not bringing steak knives...plus pouring wine poorly that made a mess....I understand that they tried to accommodate us during a busy night but I believe that there are rooms for improvements in making the food experience memorable for the customers coming with an excitement: do not accept new custoemrs once they are NOT ready for extra services/customers respect customers space once they offer the...

Nice dinner restaurant in Marienhamn that provides high quality food. We had pre-booked table two weeks before our trip to Åland, Finland.

We had a nice dinner here in Kvarter5. We had älgtartar (moose tartar, 18€), biffmacka (sirloin of beef on bread, 28€) and röding (arctic char, 36€, two glasses of cava (tot. 14,4€) with two additional glasses of wine total dinner costed 118€.

All foods were very good and service was very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was very warm and sophiaticated.
