The tenderloin steak in the picture was very good, and the appetizers too. Otherwise the experience was a disappointment.

We were a group of six people, and none of the others were happy with their meals. In the worst end, my father and mother had a shared portion of tenderloin and some vegetables. All the pieces of meat were burned black and rubbery, not something you would eat. The price of the duo portion was 66€. Also the steak of my son looked the same, and we peeled the black surface off for him.

When we complained about the burned meat, the waiter offered to bring some more meat to the portion. Left the plate in the table..

No apologies or dessert offered as compensation. Needless to say there was no tip. The two stars (instead of one) are due to the steak I had on my own plate, and the appetizers. Obviously the corona hasn't impacted enough to take care of the few paying customers.

Service? Absolutely spot on — both girls were friendly, professional, and had a smile that instantly made us feel welcome. If only the kitchen had been as sharp. We went for the two-person steak menu on the hot stone, asking for medium rare to medium. What we got was well done, full stop. And honestly, if you brand yourself a steakhouse, nailing the steaks isn’t optional — it’s the bare minimum. The Caesar salad came with more dressing than lettuce, but the crème brûlée did manage to sweeten the mood at the end. Still, at €200 for two (wine included), you expect to walk out impressed — not wondering if the chef’s thermometer...

Paikka on viihtyisä ja hyvällä sijainnilla, joten tänne voi poiketa helposti lounaalle vaikka kesken työpäivän. Sijainti keskustassa, vaikkakin hieman piilossa, takaa helpon pääsym tänne. Ravintolan läheltä löytyy myös hieman piilossa oleva maksullinen pysäköintialue, joten myös autolla saapunen ravintolaan on erittäin helppoa.

Lounas on aina ollut täällä erinomaista, houkuttelevaa sekä maistuvaa. Salaattipöytä on myös hyvä, eikä lounaan hinta ole korkea laatuun nähden.

Tänne tuli eksyttyä joskus ruuhka-aikaan, ja palvelu oli myös silloin hyvää ja nopeaa, vaikka vuorossa näytti olevan vain yksi tarjoilija. Tästä huolimatta ruoka tuli tarjoiltuna pöytään alle puolessa tunnissa.

Täältä on saatavissa myös listaruokia, mutta itse olen käynyt täällä vain lounasaikaan. Voin suositella tätä lämpimästi lounaspaikaksi. Hyvä ruoka, hyvä palvelu ja mikä parasta: erittäin hyvä hintataso.

Asiakas otetaan vastaan heti ovelta, jolloin ei tarvitse ihmetellä mitä pitäisi tehdä, kuten monessa muussa paikassa voi joutua tekemään. Ainoa ihmetyksen aiha on ollut maksaminen, sillä se tehdään ainakin lounasaikaan yleensä erikseen kassalla eikä pöydässä tai ennen ruokailua.

Ravintolassa on myös yleensä tilaa, eikä paikkaansa joudu etsimään kauaa. Ruokalistoja ei aina löydy jokaisesta pöydästä, mutta onneksi tarjoilija osaa esitellä aina päivän lounaat.

Ruoka tarjoillaan täällä pöytään. Annokset on aina tehty myös houkuttelevan näköisiksi. Maku on usean kerran jälkeen aina ollut upea, ei vielä koskaan pettymys. Lounaaseen kuuluu pääruuan lisäksi myös salaattipöytä, kahvi, tee sekä eri päivinä erilainen jälkiruoka.

Ravintola itsessään on hieno ja ainakin suosittelisin itse tätä muille kuin haalareihin pukeutuneille lounastajille, vaikka kyllä myös heitä täällä...
