Bodega Salud — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

The food was good, which isn't much to say when the meal costs 50 euros, I'd expect a bit more than just good. They advertise to be a Spanish restaurant but there was very little Spanish food available, and overall the menu was quite minimal. The chairs were awful, each and every one of our eight member party complained about the lower back not having any support. The desserts were good again, nothing excellent, and quite pricy. Had the prices been half of what they were, I could even consider 5 stars, but as it stands this place is unfortunately not worth the money. Comparing to other reviews given a year ago and the pictures they included, it looks like the quality of the steaks has gone down quite a bit.

Very bad service. We were waiting at the empty restaurant for 20 minutes to be waited after sitting. The waiter didn't bring us menus, so after 15 minutes we got up and took them ourselves. The sangria has frozen fruits or otherwise was not impressive. The shrimps in chili oil were watery, not comparable with real Spanish stuff. The snails were good, but drenched in butter. But maybe it's supposed to be like that. The aperitives took very long to cook. The lunch salad bar was not impressive. The only tasty stuff was the bread. Will not come again to this place and would not recommend. This was a bad experience for 1st time Finland tourists who were searching for a quality lunch place in Tampere. The duck was not worth 34€ and it had some foil on it.

We had to wait for a long time to be seated. The salad buffet was average. We again had to wait for a long time for the food, the waiter said there was a mix up in the kitchen.

The duck was dry and rubbery, the potatoes didn't taste like anything and the peas were also rubbery, like straight from the freezer.

I told the waiter about the foil on the duck and she said she'd ask the chef what it was. She never got back to us, just continued with her other work.

We waited again for a long time for the check, until my friend had to ask the waiter for the check.
