Luckiefun’s Sushibuffet Hämeenkatu — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Decent looking place, but quality absolutely not what luckiefun normally is. I just expected to eat a decent meal. Poor lukewarm food selection. Sushi had see-through slices of salmon and some of it was dried out. Poor dessert (vanilla ice cream), no sauce. Banana flies around food and tables. High price for what you get.

Weirdly we got 2 napkins as 2+1 family, after asking for more paper (children get messy) we were provided 1 more napkin. Money must be tight. Feels like they are closing the doors soon.

Edit: I have confused this establishment with a foreign chain that had excellent food. Sorry for confusion, but not a mistake on the restaurant that we visited and the review is...

2023, 2.3. Edit: the selection of sushi is replaced very, very slowly. You wait for stuff to arrive, others do the same and when they bring new stuff out it disappears immediately. The quality of salmon soup has dropped sharply, i no longer would describe it as tom yum at all, just ...soup. The place is smaller now, and can be full.

2020, 18.7. Edit: the drinks dispenser was out of fizz/CO2 and the drinks were flat. Price was the same though. The situation went unfixed although there were complaints.

Ok quality sushi, nothing too special but for the price it works. Extremely roomy, this place will probably always have a table for you. The salmon version of Tom Yum soup they serve here is...

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this sushi buffet restaurant. The salmon was old, the rice was as hard as a rock, and some of the sushi had a gritty texture. It was completely inedible. I decided to try the warm food, but the chicken was so bad I had to spit it out immediately. I paid 15 euros for lunch and ended up eating only a piece of cake and some coffee. The staff couldn’t communicate in Finnish or English, and when I raised my concerns, they dismissed me, insisting the sushi was fresh. It was clear from the empty restaurant that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Do yourself a favor and skip this place; I wish I had checked the Google reviews before wasting my time...
