By far the VERY WORST restaurant experience I have had in Finland. Food was horrible and boring, and tasted like nothing but buckets of fish sauce. As an Asian with a native Thai mother, I can say the food there was complete betrayal of authentic Thai food. Worst of all, the restaurant was extremely family-unfriendly with unbelievably rude and uncultivated staff. We went with our toddler to eat in the restaurant in Näsilinnankatu 23 yesterday. Throughout our whole time there, the waitress kept casting angry look at us because we had a toddler who was screaming every now and then and made a mess on the floor with his food. We paid for our adult buffet portion already before we started eating. And when we were about to leave, that same nasty waitress suddenly confronted us and rudely demanded three extra euros for the tiny bit of food we passed from our plate to our toddler, while staring at our toddler angrily. It's not the three euros which mattered but her extremely undesirable attitude. If it had been a Finnish restaurant, I am sure the staff would have been friendly and understanding. What that nasty waitress did was chasing customers away and she accomplished - I will NEVER EVER return to this restaurant and highly discourage others, especially those with kids, from going there. Horrible food, staff and noisy environment - total nightmare.

I asked for some palm sugar and they did not have it. I am not sure how they make som tum without palm sugar and weird that a Thai place does not have palm sugar considering that is a very important ingredient in Thai cuisine. They did fix it by adding sugar in the meal but it does not deliver the same taste as palm sugar. Secondly, the food was quite basic for ala carte. The place did not feel value for money. Also both our dishes had the same taste even though we ordered different dishes. The presentation was awesome. I would try their buffet out but not their ala...

Included is a variety of different foods, two different types of rices and often up to four different types of meat meals, and spring rolls and wings. Also desert coffee/tea.
Good location, easy access by foot, not so great with a car. Also have a delivery option, I have not tried that.
I have been here many times, and I...
