Pizzeria Basiliko — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

While not on the level of the absolute best pizzas in town, Basiliko is a more than welcome addition to the scene, specifically on the eastern side of the city.

We had lunch, where any pizza for 10,50€ is an absolute steal, and had a selection of different pizzas. None of our selection had anything in particular to complain about. Torino with mushroom and prosciutto, and Salame Picante where perhaps the most enticing of the bunch. Bufala could have had more visible mozzarella, but this is a minor detail. The salad table was very modest, and honestly completely unnecessary.

The interior may be a bit unfinished, but the staff was very friendly. Location is excellent for the University and Tampere Talo area, which indeed has missed a proper pizza place. Basiliko fills...

I really liked your pizza in the beginning, ordered many times (tried almost all pizzas) and recommended to all my friends. But something really bad happened to the quality and taste of your pizza. Ordered today (16.4.2020) Venezia pizza. It was dry, tasteless and cold (delivery was fast so it couldn’t affect). I had the feeling that pizza was cooked some hours ago and it wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t finish it. Honestly the worst pizza I have ever tried. Really big disappointment, guys, cause quality is getting worse and worse... I don’t know maybe one day later I will give you one more chance but now I prefer to order pizza from some your competitors. Happily there are some other good Italian...

Small things can ruin everything and that’s what happened today. I visited here for lunch. Place was super full so we waited 1 hour. Maybe hire someone for the rush-hour. But no, that’s not what ruined it. I ordered one of the pizzas as everyone else did and wanted to change one ingredient to another (speck to parma ham). First, the order came wrong and I waited even more to get the right one. Then when paying, I was charged extra for changing the ingredient. Again I didn’t add a new one ; I changed one ham to another. I was in a rush so couldn’t argue, but it pissed me off. Pizza was good, thin layer, good crisp, good and fulfilling...
