The food and service were great. The atmosphere is just crazy however - it’s a tiny bakery and there’s only enough room for a single file queue and there’s tons of dirty looks and snide comments as you go past even though you tried to excuse yourself. When we were eventually served, the lady was very patient and accommodating to us and it was a positive experience. We loved the almond allumette pastry and the maquis cake which the bakery is famous for, really soft and moist made of chestnut, honey and some kind of orange like citrus. It was lunchtime and many customers were ordering the savouries. We would happily come back here (maybe earlier in the day!)

Service was incredibly rude from the moment we walked in. Upon checking out we were told twice we would not be given a receipt (I asked because I was shorted change). I'd like to say it was worth it given how delicious I expected the pastries to be (they look so beautiful in the case) but honestly I wish I would've walked out when they began being rude instead of ordering. The pastries were ok, but nothing to be excited about. Sad because we were looking forward to it. We enjoyed a lot of other bakeries up and down the street, this was just a big miss for us. The whole neighborhood was so sweet and kind, this was our only negative experience all day.

Just like all the nice lovely boulangerie in France, it offers a great range of fresh and tasty bread, and patisserie were impressive too! Beignets have warm goat cheese melting inside and still warm when on shelf in the morning, def special here and worth a try! Châtaigne is widely used in dessert and patisserie in Corse and gives a warm subtle sweet taste, have to try a few of those! Very satisfying!

Baguette and Apple Galette were delicious however the chocolate sticks ( wrapped in a very dry dough) and bread loaf were a miss. Loaf had a heavy molasses taste that overshadowed the bread. The service was quite unpleasant, we tried our French but were not very good so not well received.

Good tasty bakery products. Located on a quiet little street, but close to the center and the harbor. Displays a bio label for organic food. The coffee was delicious. WiFi and a toilet are missing.
