Quite possibly the best ski hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.||One of the best locations for ski in ski out with dedicated staff to get you in the boots and out. The food was great but restaurant decor could do with a freshen. Best to eat out in the evenings as there are many wonderful places near by.||Our room faced the slopes so we could watch the late comers slide past at tea time. Room heating was fab. We almost always had the doors open when sunny. Staff were very polite and helpful making sure we would have reservations when required. would have liked a better table at La Folie Douce however. Next time. Yes this a hotel I wouldn't hesitate to return to. It seemed that many of it's occupants had been many times before. always a good sign. My tip would be to plan ahead and book early.||Spa was fab although the peace of my 1 hour massage was disrupted by the sound of someone thudding away on the running machine (as if skiing every day is not enough exercize). Gym too close to the spa area guys!!!||The bar had some lovely cocktails and great afternoon cake for that cosy hot chocolate post ski. ||All in all, I loved this place. Amanamazing as usual. Off to the Aman in Venice next. My new favorite...

Read moreThis is a special place. Having visited many AMAN properties already, this one surprised us, but in a very positive way. Here some highlights: Intimacy: This is a small property, yet it feels very cosy and intimate; the atmosphere comes very close to visiting friends in their exclusive private Chalet Room: We staid in a very cosy Chambre Ski Piste with Hot Tub; the views of the Bellecote piste from our Norwegian hot tub were mesmerising Service: The team was very warm and provided outstanding service; concierge was very responsive and provided great tips and secured all reservations we requested; also, we received the best turndown gifts ever (won't spoil what it was) Spa: Small, yet beautifully designed; it felt very private as their were mostly no other guests by the pool or in the sauna / hammam area Food: The room rates include half board, while restaurants in the partner hotel Les Airelles are also included; this provided great variation and we were able to enjoy different cuisines of highest quality Overall a great stay and we will...
