Although the food was good we had to wait several eternities for it to arrive , staff were apologetic but generally dazed , confused and disorganised. We asked for an extra glass of wine to drink with our meal ( as we had finished the bottle by the time the main course landed) pleasantly surprised to receive this FOC when the bill was supplied. They also gave us a free Calvados ( which was sadly spoiled with ice) but the apparently it's the thought that counts... The original bottle of red wine also arrived cold ( not beajoulais). We dined there with friends. We had a very good time. Between all of us, we had the fondues, tartiflette and duck. We had profiteroles, crepes and ice-cream for dessert, and kirs as aperitif. Portions are generous but not too big. Everything was excellent. The artisanal and local ice creams are soooo good with several flavors we don’t find in the US. We have been sitting here for almost 2 hours - no food yet. All we got was escargot that was COLD inside. Not microwaved properly? Avoid at all costs.
