La Marmite — Restaurant in Albertville

So the food in this restaurant has the potential to be the best in Valmorel, it is a shame that it is so massively let down by the dreadful service........ No one came to ask is if our meals were ok; they weren't because we were missing the salad and potatoes from two of our main courses, we had to get up and ask for them, when we got up the three waitresses were chatting (and applying lipstick). We waited for over half an hour for our main course plates to be collected and a further half an hour for our desert order to be taken. When our deserts arrived we still had dirty main course plates at our table. We had to ask three times for our daughter's desert. Any time we asked our waitress for drinks etc, she seemed put out and annoyed. All in all, the food is good, but just not worth visiting; if service is important to you (we cook excellent food at home, so service is one of the main reasons for eating out) this is not the place for you. Such a shame, I hope the owners and chef/s read this review as they are so let down by their front of house. We left no tip and for good service we are generous tippers...

Pire restaurant de valmorel. Je suis allée y mangé avec 3 copines dans . Le serveur était très désagréable et très intrusif. On se demandait très sincèrement si il n’avait pris des substances illicites ou qu’il était bourré.

Le masque n’était pas porté correctement au point qu’en nous parlant le serveur (mat la marmite) a postilloné un bout de nourriture sur nos serviette. Lorsqu’on lui notifie que la pierre de notre pierrade es trop froide il nous répondras “ on es en vacances ici”.

Après une demi heure à table on se rend compte qu’il y avait un chien dans la cuisine. Super les normes HACCP !!

Une table de onze qui arrive avait réservé il leurs dit “ alors j’ai pas préparé de longue table donc vous devrez vous contenter de ces trois tacles la et si vous êtes pas content c’es la même”.

Au moment de régler il me clape fort ses mains devant le visage comme si il voulait tuer une mouche en nous disant “oh on se calme ici”. Alors que nous conversions dans le calme le plus total avec mes amies

Je ne sait pas si nous avons eu droit à ce traitement car nous sommes saisonnier sur la station mais si on paye j’estime que nous avons le droit à la même prestation que les clients extérieur. D’autant plus que nous ne nous connaissons pas ni d’Ève ni d’Adam donc je ne comprend pas ce comportement.

Après deux mois de saison j’ai testé tout les bars/restaurants de valmorel et je n’ai jamais été aussi mal reçue. Provenant d’un métier hôtelier pour sûr je ne le recommanderais a aucun clients...

Kept waiting 30 minutes for a table which I booked. Rude staff. No attention to covid rules. I’ve been coming to valmorel for 20 years. La Marmite always had such a good reputation… something had gone quite wrong here. Maybe they were unprepared for the New Rush but even the food wasn’t great. Un-rendered fat on the meat… rubbery food… I think there are now better places in Valmorel to try for...
