La Table des Lys — Restaurant in Albertville

Not many reviews on this restaurant so I was hesitant to go there but it was not a bad experience at all. On arrival they even offered to take our coats which none of the other restaurants in the village did. The menu was a nice departure from the usual Savoie faire that is offered in the other restaurants. We had the foie gras and then I had the Riz du veau and my wife had the duck breast. Disappointing. This was supposed to be a gourmet restaurant. They asked for a deposit of 20 euros/person.

Staff didn’t attend to us really. Kids plates stayed empty and dirty for the rest of the evening, wine we poured ourselves, water was not offered to be refilled.

But worst of all was the Tomahawk steak. We asked it to be cooked as recommended by the Chef. That caused some a reaction showing the waiter had ni clue so we asked what was recommended. The place was half empty, the price was high but food was good.
