We are immensely impressed by the lunches at this restaurant and have eaten there 5 times during our 3-week stay. The plat du jour is a beautifully presented and imaginative dish at only 12 Euros. The desserts for just under 3 Euros are also beautifully presented - no plain creme caramel here. If you are looking for interesting food and not just the standard Savoie dishes of burger, raclette, tartiflette etc this is the place. There is an outdoor terrace with a lovely views as well as indoor tables. They also pass the test for modern and clean loos. Reserved here due to the good reviews. The portions were quite small, so it is already assumed that you ordered at least 2 courses. The meat was of reasonable quality, it was a bit chewy. When this was reported, the employee reacted somewhat negatively. The tartar was seasoned too much so that the pure taste of the meat disappeared. The pork cheek and red wine were appreciated. This lovely gem of a restaurant is actually located in the "Centre Commercial" at Peisey Vallandry rather than on piste which means many people miss it. That is a great pity because it is only 100m from the bottom of the "Grizzly" lift, is truly delightful, has great views over the valley, a warm and charming welcome and absolutely delicious food beautifully presented. And all this at reasonable prices. Really...
