Le Genépi — Restaurant in Albertville

Although the food was good and the wait staff were making a decent effort, we had to wait a touch under 40 minutes for the mains to arrive despite having placed the order for both mains and starters at the beginning.

I'm unsure as to if the issue is with the lack of kitchen staff, pre-preparation of dishes (the menu has options but it is not what I would call overly extensive) or the limited time allocated to the dinner serving, but it was definitely a frustration for our table.

The Amuse-Bouche was pleasant but a little lackluster, the olives being a bit tasteless and the bread bits/biscuit following suit. However, the Sautéed Snail starter on the crisp brioche was excellent, mains were both enjoyable and the presentation was well thought out. We visit La Rosière annually, both in summer and winter, and dining at Le Genepi has become a cherished tradition for us. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and service-oriented, always ensuring we have a delightful experience. The quality of their products is consistently outstanding, making the meal a pleasure.
