This was a very pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. A very polite and smiling young man. He made sure all was going great for us :) Table and cutlery were spotless clean ! Menu options are plenty, and this is definitely the hardest part: making choises! So the three of us ended up ordering our own plates but some extras that looked appetizing. We got the Lamb Palak, Lamb Madras the veggie mix curry (accompanied with safran rice or Kashmiri rice), then added samosas, garlic cheese naan, raita. We had a taste of each other's plates... yummy. All tasty and exotic. No fear if your stomach is not as powerful as hot chili, the nice host adjusts item by item to your preference when taking the order. For a refreshing drink, I recommend the rose or mango lassi, we had both! Quantities are fulfilling and the prices are the average.

A bit more of Indian/Pakistani themed deco would make the place perfect, but hey... we were there for the food most of all.

Would go back again when in Amiens next time and would take friends there...

My wife and I had been dreaming of the food at Bombay Restaurants Amiens for 13 months since we first bought a takeaway in 2024. The menu has changed and so too it would appear has the quality of the food. Of course we could just have been here on a bad night - but the ingredients were no longer in the receipe - the lamb with aubergines no longer had great chunks of aubergine and deep brown meat - instead the aubergines were in a pureed form and swimming in cream - the meat was pale. There was an abscence of salt. Everything has changed in the quality of the food - but the warm welcome of the host Omar is still the same. He is friendly and knowlegeable. I am sad to leave this review especially if Bombay is looking to expand. Please please bring back...
