La Réserve Angers — Restaurant in Angers

It's a great vue sitting on the top of the highest building in the rightbank of Angers. The restaurant is now called Au Quai Des Saveurs. There are lots of busy waiters and waitresses continually serving tables. Service is fast and efficient. The food is quiet good. The menu is quite extensive and there is a big choice of wine. A very nice setting, the restaurant is situated on a rooftop terrace (5th floor) overlooking Angers castle and the river Maine. Direct access by lift either from an underground car park which was free (I don't know whether it is temporary, as you still need to take a ticket at the barrier) or from the street on the river front. Food is excellent, with local products and is reasonably priced (a bit over €50 per head for a cocktail, a three course meal, a bottle of wine...

THE place to go in Angers if you want good food, friendly staff and as a bonus; a spectaculair view of the city and its castle. This was by far our best dinner experience in and around Angers in the last 10 days. We loved it! The staff works hard and is super friendly. Most of them are fluent in English if you struggle a bit with your Français.
