An excellent restaurant. The service is professional, friendly and fast ( my beer arrived before the waiter had finished taking the order), the decor of the restaurant is very nicely done and the courtyard(non smoking) is magnificent. The toilet is well equiped and squeaky clean. The food is top quality, there are waiting times marked on the menu when the dish takes longer to cook, everything is fresh and cooked when ordered: nothing frozen in the kitchen! The only criticism is that you have to spice your own meal with a small bowl of thinly cut hot peppers: catering to the delicate French eating habits. I found the tables so close that you can listen to other people's conversations. Thai L'Inde is expensive: starter, main dish, dessert and wine will cost 70 or 80 euros for 2 people. Quality has a price!

Pros: - Wheelchair accessible, though with some difficulty, as there are things in the way and access to the bath room is a little difficult. - Pretty venue. Exposed old walls, a little fountain, a covered street - Staff were friendly and helpful - Mixed cuisine means a good amount of options, including vegetarian ones. Cons: - Pretty expensive, with small portions. I've been to many good Indian restaurants where you get twice as much for the price. - Food did not have much taste to me. Neither on a spice or flavour level. Some of the other people accompanying me had a better time, but it was a bit mixed. - Bit of a long wait for our dishes, though it was pretty busy. Overall, I was a bit disappointed. I can't fully recommend it, but it was not a bad experience either.

I moved from Berlin to Angers a few months ago, and while the food is generally quite good here, it’s been hard finding places with the same standard like in Berlin. Thai L’inde has extended my expectations way and beyond. What a unique fusion! We had the delicious Chicken Sate, perfectly cooked and spiced Shrimp Madras, and Lab Ped that took me straight back to Thailand. The Chapati Galette is a must too! What also makes this place special is the stunning terrace, set in a beautifully preserved 16th-century historical building. Beautiful! Absolutely recommend to make a reservation and ask for a spot there. The staff were very kind to find us a spot there despite a late reservation. I’m so happy that I found this place. Will be coming back soon again.
