A modern French restaurant which serves exceptional food at a very reasonable price!
Le Denti is a quaint venue just outside Annecy’s old town. Although unassuming from the outside, the food and the service were fantastic and it deservedly is listed in Michelin’s restaurant guide.
We had the Retour du Marché - a 3-course set menu for around £25 per person - we opted for an extra cheese course too. Each of the courses was delicately prepared and it was obvious how much love and care went into each dish - all of them had such interesting and varied flavour profiles and were presented so thoughtfully. In addition to this, we were kindly served a rustic Cauliflower Soup ‘pre-starter’ and a light Banana Bread Cupcake to finish.
The standout was the main - the fish was so delicate and fresh and the potatoes were so full of umami and savoury flavour. All of this on top of a bed of rich fennel and some well-crafted purées!
Finally the service was perfect, so polite and inviting! (And they kindly catered to our inability to speak French!)
Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to anybody...

The sauces were magnificent and delicate. An artichoke with carrot and sesame was positively sublime. Even the amuse biuche of cold melon soup with melon sorbet was scrumptious. Dessert was as exceptional as everything else-one was a chocolate cake, warm and runny on the inside, sort of a lava cake with a dollop of homemade coffee ice cream. We are discerning foodies and we will always remember our meal at Le...
