This review is for the takeaway, and not the restaurant. We were staying at the Ibis Lourdes, about 4 minutes walk away. They have no restaurant and after a day at the Basilica we did not want to eat out. The staff are friendly and managed to cope with my very fractured franglish. I ordered a Pizza Margarita with added Salami, (small), for my wife and a Pizza Sicilian for myself Mine was delicious and my wife pronounced her pizza as the best she has had in a long while. Tried to eat here 3 times and turned away 3 times! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! 1st attempt closed early Sunday evening as could not be bothered to remain open. 2nd time (two days later didn’t want to serve us). 3rd attempt today at 7.30pm on a Thursday evening “no more table service - take away only (only 2 of us and several tables empty)! If you is none white then NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Spend your money and time elsewhere! Diabolical service and NO FOOD!

As you can see from their reply they don’t give a damn! SO SPEND YOUR MONEY...

My husband and I stopped here with our small dog for lunch yesterday. We highly recommend this local pizza restaurant! The people were so kind and welcoming and made a table available for us with our dog. Service was excellent and with a smile, pizzas were high quality with local ingredients and so quick. As we walked around downtown Lourdes we saw a lot of bad quality restaurants. Eat here and then walk into town to see the Basilica a much better...
