⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Experience

We were a party of seven dining here, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. My 12-year-old daughter ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger just beef, bacon, and cheese. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, the first burger came out as a chicken sandwich. We assumed it was a language barrier issue and were understanding. Our server was very apologetic and quickly took it back.

Thirty minutes passed. By the time my daughter’s food finally arrived, the rest of us had already finished eating and to make it worse, her burger came out with just a bun and meat. No bacon. No cheese. At that point, we weren’t about to wait another 30 minutes. We told her to just eat it, but she didn’t like it at all, which only made the situation worse.

When I went to pay, I let the server know the food wasn’t eaten and explained why. Again, he apologized and tried to take care of it. Unfortunately, the manager (or who seemed to be the manager) stepped in, and his attitude was the final straw. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unapologetic. He didn’t try to make things right instead, he just told me to fill out a comment card if I wanted to complain. I told him not to worry, Google does a better job at letting people know what to expect.

I genuinely felt bad for our server, who was trying to help, but the lack of accountability and courtesy from management was unacceptable. Save yourself the money and frustration, Lourdes has plenty of better restaurants to choose from...

I was naive to think that all people in Lourdes were kind and friendly. We ate there late after the beautiful candlelight procession and encountered the rudest waiter in all of our 10 days in France. He rudely hurried us to order because the kitchen was closing and we placed our order to include Cokes w/some ice. He brought small glasses with 2 ice cubes to which my husband jokingly said, "you call this ice?" He took the glass from his hand, made a rude comment and threw the ice onto the street and gave him back the glass. I am shocked it didn't hit anyone in the very crowded street outside. Three in our party of 10 politely asked him to bring back some ice. He ignored all requests. The food was mediocre at best. The bacon burgers came without bacon but no one wanted to complain. My very kind nephew commented, he really would be surprised if we didn't end up with food poisoning because it was really that bad. On the following evening we made reservations for another restaurant along the river and when they brought out the paper placemats/menus we quickly noticed they were identical to the New Orleans ones and we quickly got...

This place has no business -no pun intended- using the name of New Orleans 👎. It's a disgrace to name and people of New Orleans. The vibrant and globally popular culture of New Orleans is a result of Black American creations such as Jazz, Creole etc, and thus was disappointed to be served by rude French middle aged men rude to ethnic foreigners. Our initial excitement going to place was quickly watered down like damp squib when the staff were cold and mean spirited. We gave benefit of doubt that it was one person, however as we noticed no smiles and lack of answering menu concerns, a rude waiter Lubi speaking to us in French and pretending not to understand English, even though it's tourist attraction, only for him to speak English to other customers, we knew this place wasn't right. Laughable how they have Black American legends throughout their restaurant like Lious Armstrong, when their staffers have no kindness. Food was mediocre. Only thing New Orleans is cultural appropriation and...

Not bad but I’d try other locations because I was not too impressed by the food. I ordered a French onion soup; it was salty and the bread on top was very dry and stale. Crème brûlée though a bit pricy was one of the better ones I’ve had here in France. If you get the salty breakfast combo you better be prepared to eat fridge cold ham. Jean-Michel our waiter was passionate in offering a good service, he improved my overall satisfaction rating and made the experience more enjoyable. On a further note; i noticed that their wifi didn’t work. Luckily there’s enough hotels in the area. I used the hotel panorama wifi and it works good from here.

I had the Traditional French Onion soup for starter. Dont let its small size fool you its packed with bits of bread and cheese and the flavour was amazing. For main course i had the Paella and there was more than enough for 2 people, i even had to leave some behind and admit defeat. With regards to service i found the waiter a bit rude, he seemed so rushed and had no interest in my dining experience. The location is tucked away which doesnt do it justice. Had it not been for this two factors i would have scored this restaurant 5 stars.
