Restaurant Mesa — Restaurant in Arles

On the way from Andorra to Narbonne we decided to eat. Not expecting anything in the city of Arles, which I had never heard of before, I looked into Google. people recommended the Mesa restaurant. Google came up with it first. What I liked most was the comment: « there are literally only several items on the menu. this shows that the boss is very confident in himself » (thanks for that comment!). what can I say, Mesa is worth it. to stop and have lunch there! my asparagus was at the level of the Michelin restaurant I visited yesterday in Nice. and pig hooves(??) in flowers zucchini with amazing bucket of spices. the fish with fresh green peas was wonderful: the inexpensive fish became a masterpiece in the hands of the chef. divine bread. and what's more important - a wonderful guy who served everyone. a wonderful warm tasty place worth visiting. and we will definitely return. I wish prosperity the Mesa and the people who work there with...

A restaurant of a street of arles well filled of others but which manages to draw its merit.

Opened recently when I write these words, the restaurant MESA, knows how to convince its customers.

The principle is simple and clear : choice between 2 entries, 2 dishes and 2 desserts. Either one will remain in the fish or an alternative meat.

In the kitchen, 1 chef and in the dining room, 1 waiter. The reception is very warm even if only the waiter has a lot to do but he is very efficient.

For the kitchen that it surprise! The small Menu indicates to us that the products are fresh and have it noticed in the plate! The fish was magnificent and the meat with a perfect cooking and a sauce as surprising as delicious.

I can only recommend this restaurant and hope that they will have success here in...

We came for dinner at the time that would be considered late in the off season, yet they kindly accepted to serve us. And there is more than warm welcome to recommend at this place - food was amazing. Tourte was best I had and the swordfish was even better than what you'd find in Sicily for example where it is a staple.

The only negative remark is the price, which I find too be quite high. If only a bit cheaper, I'd be more inclined to come back during my stay in Arles. The price as it is makes you consider other options the city has to offer.
