Inside it has the warm snug ambience of a small , well run restaurant.

The team are young , friendly and personable, the owner has his finger on the pulse

The restaurant was fully booked which seems to be normal and of course a very good sign

As the restaurant name indicates the core of their menu is Egg and Chicken .

We both had the Filet de Poulet Lard Et Sauce, the wine recommendation from Le Dame Jeanne our favourite wine bar in Arras

This filet de Poulet was a well cooked light and delicate main course , we followed up with dessert.

Great food, great service, reasonably priced. We loved it and would happily eat here again! We booked online a couple of weeks in advance which is definitely recommended, as it was full on a Friday night.

The waitress was happy to speak in English and help us understand the menu options - really helpful, thank you.

The Chicken in a Pot was great, the perfect egg starter was also great, and the chocolate egg for dessert finished it off magnificently.

This was my favourite restaurant on my trip to Europe. Every single item was cooked perfectly - especially the eggs! The desserts were heavenly. The food was cooked with incredible technical proficiency.

The service was very kind and friendly. They let me order half of an entree because I wanted to try more of their appetizers and desserts. They also expedited some of my food so that I could catch my train. They really seemed to enjoy how much I liked their food.
