Great place. Warm hospitality, good wine including a good choice by the glass, and good food. The barmaid was exceptionally friendly and helpful and spoke good English, which compensated for my bad French. It was a cold and wet evening when I went in and the place made me feel warmer and drier just buy it’s atmosphere! And, of course, centrally located.

Highly recommended. A wonderful warm welcome, beautiful wine and delicious food. Staff took time to make us feel very comfortable and talk about all the available wines. Food and wine changes regularly so there’s always something new and delicious to try. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Si la qualité et le fait maison est aussi sympa ce doit être une bonne adresse. Au 1 place des Héros on peut aussi acheter des bouteilles de vin puisque c'est un caviste! Pour l'œnologie prise de rendez-vous sur leur site quelques semaines à l'avance. Le cours se fait à l'étage dans une belle pièce donnant sur la place. Aménagement de cette pièce de façon originale en préservant le cachet du lieu. La session avec dégustation dure environ 2h que l'on ne voit pas passer.

We read the great reviews about La Dame Jeanne so had to visit during a trip to the Arras Christmas market. We weren't looking for a restaurant meal and so the small plates menu was perfect for us, and the food was very good. We sat in the cellar and had exceptional table service, particularly enjoying talking through the extensive wine list. The service was outstanding and we were made very comfortable. What a delight to have found this. A lovely wine bar, with an excellent selection of wines that all come with a story and are all unique. We had a great welcome, wonderful advice and some delicious snacks to go with the wonderful wines.
