Côté Sushi Rueil-Malmaison — Restaurant in Arrondissement of Nanterre

Secord time ordering in this franchise(first time was somewhere in Paris 4) and the second time it's just horrible. Tasteless and at the limit of not being fit to consume fish, regular rolls are tasteless and with some awful garnish(it was some kind of sour cream instead of fresh cheese, I guess), fried rolls are roast to death(took two different kinds - still dunno which one is which), with no taste except for mix of oil and something sour(you will taste it a lot with these guys). I ate a lot of sushi in my life, but of my two worst experiences, both were with côté sushi with two years gap. It looked nice and fancy on picture and well noted and now I am 40€-50€ down in total and sick. N-E-V-E-R A-G-A-I-N~ P.S. About my doubtful choices of rolls: fried rolls are god tiers rolls, when prepared properly - I tried several ones in Russia(partially because I don't trust fish quality in this country, sometimes they like 0 waste) and it was just so full of flavour and taste. And here you just have a ball of rice(not even marinated one, like it's normally is) dipped in slightly warm oil until crust appears and it soaks entirely in oil, loosing any...

Absolutely terrible. They’re not fresh, the avocado turned brown, the mango sauce dried out and fish is dangerous to eat since it’s likely been prepared 2-3 days ago at least. They’re also liars, as when you ask them the time when sushi were made, they say “30-40min ago”, while as just by looking you can tell it’s not the case. It’s a chain, and the same goes for other restaurants in other locations....

We ordered sushi from this place for my sister's birthday and asked for some extra sauce. Not only did they include extra they gave us a lot of sauces, and even added two mochis with a little birthday note! It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture, and it truly meant a lot to us. On top of that, the sushi was delicious. I 100% recommend this place amazing service...
