NoLiTa Caffe — Restaurant in Arrondissement of Nanterre

Having been born and raised in Italy, this place has nothing in common with my home country. And here, I'm not just talking about some recipe adaptation, but really, things that have nothing to share with the Italian culture.

Just to say, the Italian burger had only the gorgonzola to make it Italian.

But let's talk about my lunch, the famous plat-du-jour. It was lamb and beans. Despite the oddities of the recipe, I decided to opt for it, hoping in and fresh beans steamed with a lovely tomato sauce. Nothing of that. Some pieces of very fatty and nerve-rich lamb served with baked beans and microwaved for 5 minutes. An experience not to repeat.

The bread (pizza style) was excellent, suggesting that the pizzas might also be good. Sadly, there will not be a second opportunity...

I am from India and we have our own Indianised Italian cuisine that I am so used to. When I visited Paris the last thing I had in my mind is to have the best Italian food of my life (I was looking forward to croissants, au-pain, ratatouille etc. as usual). I was staying opposite to this place for 2 weeks during June this year. Since it’s just opposite to my hotel, I went there naturally on day 1. After that I haven’t looked at any other place when I wanted to eat Italian in those 2 days. Authentic Italian stuff. Pizza, Pasta, Tiramisu and the Espresso stand out for me. I would like to thank the host for all the food suggestions (I am a pure vegetarian) and service. merci beaucoup ! Can’t wait to visit again...

Les frites maison ce ne sont pas les frites qirgelés!!! Nous sommes venus un bon nombre de fois et nous étions toujours contents mais cette fois ci la déception complète ! Un prosecco avec un bouchon qui se dévisse et sans les bulles... un pavé qui n'en est pas un et surtout servis froid et ma sauce gorgonzola et la 3 fromages est exactement la même à une micro différence près : 2 mini morceaux d'autres fromages au milieu pour faire genre 3 fromages... je suppose que le propriétaire du lieu à changé... Mais punaise ! Le frais ce n'est pas du surgelé ! Et je ne viens pas dans un restaurant pour manger pire que ke mangerai à la vas vite...
