La Ferigoulo — Restaurant in Avignon

What a beautiful, charming little restaurant tucked away in the South of France. The staff were so welcoming and friendly—it truly felt like home. The food was delicious, and the prices were surprisingly great. I was honestly just so impressed by how kind and warm everyone was. And the restroom upstairs? A lovely, unique detail. You walk in and see a charming sink with the window wide open, letting in that fresh southern breeze. Southern, France!!....

We came for a meal during our trip. We had 28 people. We were served quickly. We started with bread. Our entree was a veal stuffed tomato rice, with green beans. It was very good. The waiter was animated, personable, and fun. He was joking with the kids in his broken English and their broken French. He definitely made us feel welcome and happy. If I'm ever in Avingnon again, I'll go...

Ate here with an EF Tour on their pre-plated tour menu. They served meatballs on roasted tomatoes with a light brown sauce and it was very good. The rice that came with the meatballs was a 3/7 at best, I was not a fan.
