Restaurant Milano — Restaurant in Avignon

Wonderful food and great service. I had a really great, rare duck with sweet potato fries and a mushroom sauce. The duck was tender and tasteful and we got really great wine and free bread. The fries were perfectly on the border between crunchy and soft and the sauce was wonderful. I had ice cream for dessert which was creamy and with a pure vanilla flavour. I also had a glass of Muscat, a lovely dessert wine of which the owner recommended. The waitresses didn't speak that great english but said owner of the restaurant came out and helped us translate. Also, we couldn't find the parking where we parked our car, but the owner helped us again to find the entrence to the parking. Over all great experience, would definatley...

Horrible! Inside the restaurant the dirt was at his place. Never seen such a mess and dirt. The women toilet were full with child chairs. We recommend the authorities to check and close the restaurant immediately. The greek salad was almost liquid due to the dressing . Same for the caesar salad. In the caesar salad we found some chicken nuggets from supermarket. No grilled chicken, nothing in common with a clean and healthy salad. All the ingredients were the cheapest one from the cheapest supermarket in Avignon. After the meal, the stomach was in pain....

Arrived at 11:30, were told they weren't taking lunch orders until noon,which was fine. We promptly ordered at 12, and the food never arrived. We left after 45 minutes even though our food order was the first or second for their lunch shift. Restaurant was also dirty. Women's restroom was filled with high chairs and other supplies and was unusable. We were served a bowl of peanuts at one point, and that bowl was dirty as well.
