Situated in a bland neighbourhood, and looking rather unassuming from the outside, you'd be tempted to give the place a miss if you hadn't been there before. That would be a monumental mistake! Pascal, the amazing Chef behind this 'Gastronomical Bistro', is an Avignon local and a champion of the local cuisine (quite literally, for instance, for aioli -- ask him). And while the place would deserve a more impressive location, and perhaps a tiny bit more work on the decor, his passion is obviously food and wine, and so on your memorable evening there, he will woo you with a know-how and ability to execute that you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere in the city.
