This place has bothered me since we left. The food is very mid. It’s nothing special and I don’t understand the hype, however what really bothers me is the hygiene.
The hygiene has been so off putting for me and burned into my mind.
One of the workers there, he kept touching his face as he talked to us, picking at it as I guess from personal habit and then started layering our food touching the bread with his bare hands that he had all over his face previously. Secondly, when asked for a fork, they didn’t have any left and as he was digging around in the tray of wooden spoons, he kept touching them with his bare hands to sift through them ( and I mean literally picking up the spoon ends that go into you mouth to examine) -just so uncouth and to think they will be handing that out to customers later.
That really made it off putting and hard for me to eat my take-out food once back to our hotel thinking about that person.
I’ve noticed such places being very cavalier in just touching things in an unhygienic way and I really urge you guys to be mindful of that....
