This is approx. the 3rd or 4th time we have eaten here.
The food has always been very good and the portion sizes are very good. Although having said that my husbands pizza had more cheese on it than the actually toppings. My vegetarian one was great!
Having had no starter and thinking or planning to have a dessert, the main was so filling that we couldn't manage a dessert! A shame as they looked great!!!
The service has always been lacking in this restaurant, when we walked in we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, we preferred inside to avoid all the smokers (which are quite high in France 😀). The interior was far more empty and so we were told to sit where we wanted. No one came behind us with menus and so we waited approx. 5 minutes before we even got one.
We then ordered our food which came fairly quickly, but were not asked if it was fine, but instead had people hovering over us to see if we were finished to clear our plates.

We checked for a table on 24th of February, and not expecting to have a problem, but the restaurant was fully booked and we were accepted on a small table close at the time when staff were having their dinner before service. That is for a very good reason, because the veryfriendly and amicable service by owner Sebastian and his crew is outstanding. The fish starter was exceptional and we never had that before and normally we don’t go for pizzas but their pizzas are made how in Napoli and it is worthwhile to test them : they were the best we had so far !
Service is like 3 star Michelin, but atmosphere is like being at friends home.
