Seriously? It's pretty interesting to watch people eat at this refined seaside dining with fresh local seafood and peaceful ambiance! A lot of oldies here....
I had a wonderful experience at L’O de Vie in Valras-Plage. It’s the kind of restaurant that combines the best of what you’d hope for in a coastal eatery—fresh, local ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere right by the sea.
The seafood was exceptional. You can truly taste the freshness—sourced locally, and it shows in the quality. I had a delicately cooked white fish with seasonal vegetables and a rich, flavorful sauce. Their limited but evolving menu reflects what’s fresh and available daily, which I truly appreciate.
The setting is lovely—modern, relaxed, with wide windows offering a direct view of the beach and ocean. Whether for a romantic meal or a quiet lunch, the ambiance is peaceful and elegant.
The service was kind and professional. While there was a slight delay during peak time, the staff remained attentive and courteous throughout.
If you're in Valras-Plage and enjoy seafood done well—with care, creativity, and a focus on freshness—L’O de Vie is absolutely worth a visit. One of the best culinary stops in the area.
Check on it. You...

2- Pathetic and overpriced fish by the sea. Makes no sense to me. Oh and my fish had a strange burnt bitter taste. 3- Salad with raw onions. Sorry, no.
4- Disgusting sauce on top of the fries.
To me, what ruined the whole experience was the high temperature and the refusal to open the main door again. The waitress said that it might rain on the other customers, but the rain was clearly gone. I basically just left.
I will never go back there, ever again.
2 entre, 2 main dishes without drinks = 81 euros! I should have gone to...
Read moreL’O De Vie - We enjoyed a delicious meal here, the menu is small but with a great choice of fish and some meat dishes. The two seafood dishes we ordered were cooked fresh, served magnificently with wonderful presentation. The food was cooked perfectly and really was fantastic and really great value. The service was excellent the waiter kindly translated the menu into English for us and spent a lot of time to make sure we understood everything. If you wish to leave a tip, bring cash, they cannot accept a gratuity through the card machine which left us feeling very guilty as the service was absolutely superb, we were not rushed and were given all the time in the world to enjoy the ambience. Highly recommend you visit and enjoy a...
