La Table Bohème — Restaurant in Béziers

A real shame that service is so poor as the food is lovely. Waited for order to be taken, drinks arrived after about 10 minutes along with a dish of nuts, 1 minute later main meals arrived and nuts removed 🤷‍♀️. We had to remind the waitress we had asked for water and this arrived as we were over half way through meal. The plates were cleared about 10 minutes after we finished (the hint was in the fact we had piled them up) but I'd left my cocktail in front of me ... I took my eyes off the ball as my 3/4 finished cocktail was also cleared 🤦‍♀️ I wondered if it was just us but several other tables near us also had long waits to order and long waits for drinks ... the couple next to us finished their meal when ours arrived, yet only got to order coffee at the same time as us ... another couple arrived, were sat at a table and waited 25 minutes for ice creams .... nothing fancy, just scoops. Like I say - food was terrific but the service for some...

Cute place with boho vibes resto, right at the port, unfurtunetly the service of one of the waitress was not great borderline rude, plus the contactless payment was not working from their side due internet conexion. I offered to pay wireless if they gave the password but the mentioned waitress reply to me 'Ché'pas' (I don't know in French. Basically she didn't want to give me the password code to pay. Seriously? 🤔).

Shame that at such and beautiful tourist spot non of the staff speak English and they are not willing to do a minimum effort to please foreigner costumers. Obviously they are under staff n looked stressed. For the records, the other lady was great. 😀

Ambience 10/10 ✔️ Beverage selection 9/10 ✔️ Food presentation 9/10 ✔️ Taste 8/10 The frittes were soggy n half of the mussels were empty. Service 5/10 WiFi ✖️

Ce midi nous avons été reçus dans votre établissement par votre serveuse vers 13h00, deux adultes et un bébé de moins de deux ans…: 30 mn après notre arrivée et suite à de multiples demandes nous avons eu une serveuse qui a daigné venir prendre notre commande, 55 mn après notre arrivée, et après trois requêtes, nous avons enfin été servis, et notre bébé a attendu tout ce temps …! il est déplorable de se conduire comme cela avec ses clients…! sûrement que vous auriez dû avoir la décence de nous informer avant de nous accepter, que vous alliez être incapables de nous servir convenablement… de plus après notre insistance votre serveuse nous a pris de haut… bravo pour votre qualité d acceuil très très NULLE, votre démarche commerciale encore plus NULLE, et votre non prise en compte des remarques juste exactes, réelles auxquelles vous vous permettez de répondre de manière désinvolte…comme si vous vous en fichiez…! Très belle mentalité..! Je ne vous félicite pas et me permets de vous Inviter à prendre en compte la réalité de votre comportement qui est aux antipodes d’un comportement juste normal et accueillant de votre clientèle dans un établissement de restauration qui se veut de qualité…… Très très déçu d’un tel comportement et d’un si mauvais...
