Family owned gem nestled by the habour. From the moment you enter you are greeted by family and it feels just like that close knit and intimate. Pre meal cocktails, amuse-bouche and starters were delicious! The grilled seabass was gentle and full of flavor with subtle grilled vegetables . Everything tasted fresh and made with intention. The wine selection is vast and bottle prices are reasonable. For a full dining experience we found the price reasonable and worth it. The service is excellent and the restaurant is impeccably clean! Wonderful experience beginning to end.

Went in for lunch yesterday, and were greeted like a family member, menu explained eloquently. We had the specials of the day, we both had the goats cheese salad to start with, then I had the most succulent prawns ever, while hubby had the 24 hour cooked pork which melted in the mouth. As we’re in the area for 10 days, we will most definitely be back. Well done Aurora, Sebastien and staff, you have one amazing restaurant Jean & John 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ❤️

Don't be carried out by the first look, there is a real, careful and passionate cook behind the terrace and the dining room. The look of starters as well as main dishes belong to upper class places that would charge you a lot more, without necessarily the same quality. We had the sea bass, and this was absolutely fresh, and cooked to perfection. Another reason to get off the highway and allow yourself a break.

I’m honestly puzzled by all the glowing reviews. While the lady who served us was genuinely kind and did her best, the overall service was very slow and frustrating. We kept waiting too long between courses, which affected the flow of the meal.

The calamari, in particular, didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it was probably bought frozen from a supermarket. For a fish restaurant, we expected fresh dishes, but instead it felt quite ordinary and uninspired. We came primarily for the food, and that’s where the experience really fell short.

I hope this was just a one-off visit, but based on this meal, it’s hard to see what the...

On commence à comprendre pourquoi.
