La Main à la Pâte — Restaurant in Bagnères-de-Bigorre

Visited on 29th August 2025. We've been coming to st lary for 12 years and wish we'd discovered this earlier. The young man at the pizza oven was brilliant and the young lady, on her own for the first hour we were there, was formidable, serving 45 heads solo, a tour de force. The food (three pizzas, the beef, tagliatelle and veal, were all excellent. The desserts, as mentioned in other reviews, huge and delicious.

Our last night this summer and feeling remiss at going to other restaurants the last few days and that we didn't try each of the lamb, mussels and pork belly, amongst other items on the menu.

I almost didn't want to leave a review, because it's such a gem. Well done to the owners, but...

We went there three times during our stay, and each visit was incredible. On the first day, we started with their homemade pizzas, which were absolutely delicious. The second time, we ordered the Garbure and Cassoulet—traditional dishes from the region—which were both homemade and incredibly tasty. The homemade Île Flottante was beyond delicious; they served the vanilla custard with a light, foam-like texture that was simply amazing. Tout est impeccable, le service assuré principalement par Masha, est souriant courtois et professionnel.

Ambiance montagne avec ce magnifique plafond à l'ancienne décoration style bois avec une touche d'ambiance musicale Jazzy qui est très relax, perso j'adore 👌🏾

Parlons prix direct comme ça c'est fait ! 😄 Un menu Entrée, plats, desserts, est proposé à 38 €.

Au vu de la qualité des produits, leur association gustatives, la présentation soignée des assiettes, les sauces du chef qui sont... 🤤 Bref c'est bon de bon !

"Petit moment conseil d'influence volontaire" haha Je vous conseille directement l'entrée risotto gambas ( vous verrez bien pour ceux qui aime ce style de plat )
