Les Petites Vosges — Restaurant in Bagnères-de-Bigorre

Here is one of my very rare outbursts of excitement and enthusiasm ! If anyone wants to open or start a Chambre d'Hote (or B&B in english) then this is THE reference point per se.||There is simply NO BETTER way to run such a place - I bow my head in-front of this lady who created this place and runs it like a perfect setting for any critics. We could not find any piece of dust - altough the place is packed with little things all over the place. She and her interior architect created a jewel of a guest house - Every room is just wonderful and unbelievable beautiful with an endless list of details to discover, but true - there is NO TV in the room and guess what - you don't need one - not in here !!! A TV would spoil the show - and the peace and atmosphere that is worth just embracing and absorbing.||I can only repeat - this for me is one of hte best places i have ever been in my life and I will remember this place forever. Bravo and congratulation to this impressive piece of art - that allows guests in and spend a few moments of their live in this magic setting. We will have to find a...

Our second trip to this well run B&B. The owner, M. Chantal Estelle-Lacene, made us very welcome. The location of the property in the centre of this charming town is ideal and parking nearby (on the street or open car parks) is not usually a problem as the town is very quiet at night. There is a choice of restaurants nearby to suit most tastes. M. Estelle-Lacene also offered us safe storage for our bicycles which was much appreciated. The rooms are well decorated and our room (Botero) benefits from air-conditioning if needed. There is a small roof-top terrace for relaxing on. The breakfasts here are amongst the best I have experienced in France with different choices each day, fruit, yoghurt and artisanal confitures etc. We hope to...
