Brasserie L’impasse cafe — Restaurant in Bastia

On my last day of visiting Corsica, I wanted to treat a friend to lunch. He lives on the island as a church worker, wearing the related religious insignia. We entered this restaurant, and as I don't really speak French, he politely asked for a table in French.

The waiter then saw my friend's insignia, examined it, and started waving his finger, giving the signal for us to leave. We took our 80 EUR business elsewhere and had a nice lunch with friendly service at another restaurant.

Seems like there has been a change of ownership in the last year. The Cafe has been renovated recently. There are outlets even outside and they provide free wifi. We went here because we had to work and charge a laptop but in the end we were pleasantly suprised. The food was outstanding and the guy running the place was explicitly friendly and accommodating. SEMBRA QUASI L’INIZIO DI UN FILM WESTERN in cui la gente si trova le mani addosso per stupidaggini, ma purtroppo tutta VERITÀ!!!!!!!!!!! Sì proprio così ci sediamo con 3 miei amici al “bar” l’impasse, loro prendono 3 birre io niente (credo che sia permesso stare con i propri amici al bar anche se uno non prende niente) comunque dopo aver portato le birre ai miei amici, chiedo se fosse possibile andare in bagno, e con sorpresa mi sento rispondere dal proprietario “ cosa hai preso da bere?” io dico niente e lui risponde “beh devi prendere qualcosa” al che mi metto a ridere perché oltre al fatto che una cosa del genere non accade in nessun bar, dimostra pure di essere una pessima persona e un pessimo proprietario!!!! Decido quindi di mettere immediatamente 1⭐️ e il proprietario che mi stava attentamente osservando va a controllare sul sito, dopo aver visto la recensione MI ARRIVA ALLE SPALLE E MI FICCA UN CEFFONE in testa....!!!! Avendo avuto la nave poche ore dopo decido quindi di non chiamare la polizia!!!!!! Beh che dire NON ANDATECI ASSOLUTAMENTE !!!
