Tl;Dr... Don't go here even if it's the only place open in town. Go eat seaweed from the harbor....Unless La Table des 2 Marcel is open then try there maybe. Up
First off let me start by saying I never... N. E. V. E. R leave food on the plate didn't matter how bad it is.
We wanted to go to La Table des 2 Marcel... They were closed and because of that we came here...I should give them a 1 star just for that.
The last pic is the plate I left so if you look at nothing more realize it was bad enough for me to leave food.
I gave a 1 star only because I couldn't give -5.
The wine was good but no amount of wine would make the food tolerable.
The bread was also good but there was 5 pieces and 3 were really good the other two were stale leftover sliced bread.
My dish came with mayonnaise which was delightful but again not enough mayo in the town to mask the taste of rotten seafood in my dinner.
Wife got the cod, it was also maybe the worst cod dish either of us have ever tried, it was as if they took the smell of a fish market on a 90 degree day and made it a meal.
Server never brought water but I'm grateful because based on everything else it probably would have been fishy.
I generally can't eat mussels because I have an allergy that results in violent vomiting, after this meal I regret not ordering the mussles as the experience would have been more pleasant than this meal
This place was so bad I started writing a negative review even before I finished eating.
I can't even express it enough in words that unless you eat canned tuna that you have previously feed to a dog, you need to go somewhere else.
I only wish my review was enough to bring them down below 2 stars to save other unsuspecting people from dining here and wasting their money.
Everything up to any including going to the bathroom was a...
Read moreStaff seemed friendly at first. We got seated (2 adults and 2 kids) and ordered. They only had one menu (scallop based, because of the festival) so only two choices for each course. Simple right? Guess again..
They forgot two entrees. After waiting for 15 minutes, we asked why is took so long. They forgot. That can happen.
Main course, all four of us, got the wrong dish. Unlikely that they have such a bad streak, but it still can happen.
Politely pointed out the mistake and asked if they could please serve us the dishes we ordered... wrong move. The waitress got really angry and told us it wasn't possible. I would have walked away if it wasn't for the two kids that were very hungry, plus it was getting late.
Desserts were literally smashed on the table by the waitress, out of anger. Kids got frightened. We complained about all of this when paying the bill downstairs. Owner got angry with us, like it was our fault they messed up. I refused to pay the full amount. In the end they chose to give a discount to stop us "making a scene". This was after we suggested we could also walk away. What are they going to do? They didn't not ask for the Covid QR code, so that would have been a really funny situation, involving the police.
This was horrible. The service was soo bad, it ruined the whole experience. Can't complain about the food yet, but it's been 5 hours ago and my stomach does not feel good.
This one of the worst dining experiences I ever had, and it wasn't even the food that did it (yet). Can't believe this place had a Michelin star in 2006. How low can a restaurant sink? I hope for them this is about rock bottom. But don't want to know. I'm not going...

We dined at this restaurant for two consecutive evenings during our stay at the nearby 4-star hotel and Premium Golf Club, expecting a culinary experience in line with the surrounding upscale environment. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet those expectations.
While the presentation of the dishes was visually impressive, the experience ultimately lacked the substance to match the style. Many dishes were aesthetically beautiful but noticeably under-seasoned—even a touch of salt might have been enough to unlock the full potential of the high-quality ingredients used. There is no doubt that the raw materials were premium, but the execution and flavor development were inconsistent.
The food overall was just okay. Not bad, but certainly not what one would anticipate from a restaurant positioned in such a prestigious location. The gap between the perceived promise and the actual delivery was disappointing.
With a bit more attention to detail in seasoning and flavor composition, this restaurant could truly shine. As it stands, it feels more like a missed opportunity than a memorable...
