When you arrive the people are very nice. The menu is very promising. The dishes are complicated and creative. But once you get the plate it is sadly not up to expectations. We ordered both the burger and the steak medium. My burger was cooked well done. Extremely dry and unseasoned. The steak was almost rare. And also very bland in taste. The dessert was another disappointment. The cheese platter was bad. Wich is sad for a french restaurant. The combination of cheese was very tacky. In my opinion, you have to judge a restaurant by what it claims to be. This is a small town, family style joint that serves French food with burgers and pizzas; They do not claim to be haute cuisine on the Champs Elysees. The food, service and prices were good and the place was packed for lunch on a cold winter's weekday. It was a great decision I don't mind practicing my French but our waiters excellent English helped with the finer points of the menu although I don't have any trouble ordering a great blue rump!
